backlinksVariety is the name of the game when we are talking about website links.  You want to go out and obtain a wide variety of different backlinks from a whole bunch of different places.  The way that I like to get my backlinks is by doing guest blogging or interviews.

I pick an informal way to do an interview to endorse a product. I got the idea through John Carlton.  I choose a product that everybody just has to have and lots of people are saving their money to purchase. I do the review to give people more insight and information about this product.  On the website where the product is being shown, I do some guest blogging.  By doing this I am able to get backlinks to my website.

You always want to be looking for opportunities.  I just love doing guest blogging and I’ll tell you why I think that is the best way to go.  Not all backlinks are created equal.  Your backlinks can be located in a lot of different areas: from the footer, advertising section, or any static area of the site or blog.  You want your backlinks placed within the content area of the site or blog for that is the highest relative ranking that you can obtain.

My most favorite way to get backlinks is by guest blogging and the second is by interviews.  My interviews consist of question and answer session sessions.

Many people that do SEO to promote their websites miss out on this great opportunity.  Another way people miss out is not using the long tailed keywords in their articles.  Some people look at that and say well I’m just going to be getting 20 searches a day for that keyword, but if you rank number one for that keyword, that is more traffic that is being sent your way.  It only takes about 20 to 30 minutes to construct an article or an hour if you’re really slow.

You can create a page for a life time investment and it could rank number one for many years.  I have a page that ranks number one and it has been doing so for 4 years now.  I always make a sale off of that page.  It’s a longer tailed keyword that has a low volume of searches.  I think a lot of people miss out on that.  I hit it big and earn a lot of automatic income from doing something just once.

When people do searches for those keyword phrases people have a good idea of what they want.  That is why the conversation rate is so high.  It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that if you get the people to the page you’ll make a sale.  Now you know some of my tips to getting website links.
