I have heard that it was developed, not by someone who was paid to do it, but by an individual who felt this message was important.

Feel free to pass it on to others and let me know what you think about it in the comment section. Enjoy!

email marketingEven today in a slow economy, email marketing is one of the best ways to promote your business.  With email marketing you don’t have to wait for potential customers to happen upon your website, you control the exact message that you want your target market to receive.

The easiest way to put your email marketing on autopilot is by creating email marketing campaigns.  By creating campaigns you can write a series of emails that are sent out automatically by an autoresponder in your specified time frame.  This type of marketing will help expand your business and gives you immediate response from your customers.

Email marketing can reach your target market at a reasonable cost and gives you a high return on investment of your advertising dollars.  You don’t have to waste money printing and mailing your materials.

An effective email marketing message will contain embed links to your website or some other type of offer. This will Read the rest of this entry

backlinksTo maximize your website’s online presence search engine ranking is critical. Search engines generated 85% of traffic to websites. Improving your website’s search engine ranking should be an ongoing marketing strategy for your online business.

Search engines put a great deal of value to the number of inbound applicable links or backlinks your site has from other related websites. By increasing your search engine value through backlinks your page ranking will grow and so will your traffic.

How to be CAN-SPAM Act Compliant

email marketingIf you’ve ever wondered if email marketing is a viable way to market, just take a look at your inbox. The amount of spam received daily demonstrates just how valuable email marketing is. Over the last 10 years or so email marketers have used, or more accurately “overused” email marketing by sending unsolicited emails to market their products.  These emails were so effective that the number of emails sent became an annoyance to the recipients.  Because of numerous complaints the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 law was passed.

The CAN-Spam Act addresses commercial emails or email messages sent with the purpose of promoting or selling a product or service. It does not refer to personal emails sent from and to a known acquaintance.

Here are the main provisions of the CAN-SPAM Act:

No False or Misleading Header Information

The “from”, “to”, and routing information which includes the domain name and email address must be the actual information of the sender.

No Deceptive Subject Lines

The subject line must accurately reflect Read the rest of this entry

comF5If you haven’t noticed, video is exploding on the Internet. Videos can be found everywhere.  You can find them on most of the websites you visit.  They are readily available on YouTube, Google, and Yahoo just to name a few.  People attach them and send them in email messages.

If you’ve ever wondered if you should consider replacing text emails with video emails I’m going to cover a few reasons why you might want to think about doing so.

Video email is a little different than most ways of sending video.  Although there are several different ways to send video emails, today I am discussing comF5™ formerly known as helloWorld; the one in my opinion is the best.  When sending a video email with comF5 there is a link in the email message that takes the receiver to a server to view the video message.  There is no worry about downloading a virus or trying to send an email message so large that it won’t make it to the user’s inbox.

Anyone who has taken a communication class knows that 55% of a message meaning is from Read the rest of this entry
